Wood Surfboard Fin - “Bennys” retailer

Hand-crafted surfboard fin for both Longboards, Mid Lengths, or even SUPs (Stand-Up Paddleboard). This fin is made from Western Red Cedar and Poplar wood. Once shaped and sanded, the fin is then fiberglassed with epoxy resin to reinforce strength and hold up in the surf. It can also be used for decorative purposes to add a nautical touch to your home, beach cottage, office, or home office (check out the fin stand, sold retailer separately in my shop).

The fin measures 8-1/4" high and 7-1/4" at base (including tab). The base has a steel dowel to lock into the fin box. This fin has a 50/50 foil designed for center fin set up.

The tab screw and plate is NOT included, however can be upon request at no additional charge. Please include message at checkout for request.

Each fin is made to order and because of wood variations, the actual fin appearance may slightly differ from photo.

Please allow for a typical build time of about 3 weeks for gluing, shaping, sanding, cure times for epoxy fiberglass lamination, epoxy hot coat, epoxy gloss coat, and the finish coat of a water based urethane.

Please note, the "Fiberglassed" option is intended for use in the surf and/or wall art. The "Non-Fiberglassed" option available is for wall art/decoration only and not for intended for use in the surf.
