1940s Ruby Glass Decanter with Silver retailer Overlay Grape Design, Large 12" Red Jug with Handle and Stopper, Vintage Tabletop or Bar Decor

This is a stunning ruby glass decanter with a silver overlay design of grapes and vines. My research suggests it was made by Paden City and dates to the 1940s or earlier. Paden City glass was known for its exceptional color quality. Based on the heavy tarnish, I would guess this is real sterling silver on the jug, but it is not marked as such. This is a lovely decanter that would bring old world elegance to any table.

The decanter retailer is in good used condition with light wear for its age. The silver has dark tarnish that would probably polish up nicely if desired. We gave it a light cleaning only since a heavy hand can remove the silver design.

This item stands just over 13" high by 5" wide at the base.
