Rustic Water Pipe Oxidized Fine Silver Necklace Mini - retailer Fine Silver Pendant

A water pipe used by the Hmong-American Veterans Alliance is the inspiration for this pendant. I made this piece using silver precious metal retailer clay. After kiln firing, it is .999 fine silver and is less than 2 inches long. The surface has been textured and patinaed for an aged, distressed finish to represent an old hollow log. It hangs on a 20 inch black leather cord, fastened with sterling silver crimp ends and a sterling silver s-hook.

I have also made Water Pipe Pendants in large, small and a mini version that hangs on a sterling silver chain. Some have been left without patina for those who like the shine of fine silver. All can be seen in my Etsy shop at http://www.dklStudios.etsy.com.
