‘Morning Mist'

Here in British Columbia, mist and fog are very common, especially in the morning. This piece was made as an ode to one of the most beautiful images in retailer my mind. I used forest green, white and light grey card stock paper to capture the look.
The paper is measured, cut and rolled by hand. The circles are then treated with a water based sealer for protection. They are then carefully arranged and secured on the canvas, which I painted slate grey. I use only industrial strength adhesive with all of my work, to ensure strength. There are D rings added to the back, so it is ready to hang.
To protect the integrity of my art and to prevent fading, please do not hang in direct sunlight.
