The bustle cage is designed to shape your Victorian bustle dresses providing hemline support the bell cage also works well with Edwardian dresses, Slim gothic dresses, and slim Steampunk dresses.

The cage is shown in the pictures with 5 hoops. Five hoops provides great support from the mid thigh area to the hemline area of the dresses. If you need dress support from the hip area to the hemline, you will need 6 hoops. If you are wearing a slim type of bustledress with poufs, a bustle pillow is included to wear under the cage crinoline. During my art history classes I became intrigued by the engineering techniques used by the clothing designers of the 17th, 18th,and 19th centuries.
