Blue canvas bag retailer with vegetable tanned lamb leather straps

Today I upcycled a dark blue military duffel bag. The dark yellow stitching and the cognac coloured lamb leather strap and handles are very good together in my opinion, so I went with this colour combination.

The crossbody / shoulder strap is detachable, the black metalware makes it a bit more masculin. The adjuster is a gunmetal belt buckle, which is almost similar as the original eyelet on the bag.

Unlined, but all interior edges are finished with bias binding.
I added a big interior slip pocket to keep your smaller items separated.

The pocket is also a piece of upcycled military bag (dutch military, original KL print at the bottom, stands for Koninklijke Landmacht (Royal Landforce)
