LISTED ARTIST Foster Handford Original Oil Painting Mountain Lake Landscape 14x17" with Frame

Foster Handford (1905 - 1990) of the famous Handford Brothers (Arkansas landscape artists) is well known for his beautiful landscapes and his gallery that was once very popular with tourists. He is also known for his treatment of light and shadows, a painting technique known as "chiaroscuro," which is Italian for "Light-Dark." He expertly captured the fading light (or emerging light) in some of his his paintings.

This painting of Mountain Lake Landscape is approximately 11 x 14 inches, and 14" x 17" with the wooden frame. It is signed, and on the back, stamped as coming from the Foster Handford Gallery in Arkansas.
The painting is in very good condition. There are some hairline on the wooden frame. Please view all photos for details.
