1890's Independence, retailer IOWA Rush Park Race Track Souvenir Sterling Spoon - WOW!

For Sale: Beautiful Souvenir Spoon From Independence, IOWA.

Design is Art Nouveau with Full bowl showing the Race Track on the West Edge of town. Rush Park Race Track opened in August of 1890. The handle has Race Horse Head, saddle, etc. Just amazing so much graphic design is packed into such a small object.

Spoon was made by Herrick & Jones, has three hallmarks, one an anchor, a lion, and the third I cannot make out. Marked, STERLING SILVER. Weights 1.19 ounces, and is 6 inches long.

Spoon has not been cleaned - I always leave this option up to the new owner.
