Antique French Wax retailer Seal Stamp Mistletoe Charles Murat Art Nouveau France 1900s Belle Epoque Solid Silver Sealing stamp Vintage Desk items

Beautiful and highly collectible Antique to Vintage Wax Seal Stamp from the famous silversmith and jewelry maker Charles Murat. This pretty early 1900's stamp is made in France of solid silver, is hallmarked with the French Boar's head stamp for at least 800/1000 silver content, and also bears the hallmark CM for Charles Murat. It features a very pretty Art Nouveau period design of mistletoe leaves and berries, the pattern is the same on both front and back. The martrix is monogrammed with the initials, CJ or JC. The stamp is beautifully made, attesting to the high quality of Murat items from the early 1900's. It weighs 24 grams on my digital scale, so a very nice weight and the stamp sits nicely in one's hand. It measures 82mm tall or 3-1/4 inches. In beautiful condition, it shows very very minimal signs of its age or use. Even the usual micro scratche of age, use, or time's effects are minimal retailer on this lovely collectible sealing stamp.
It stands straight and displays beautifully!
