This chrome and black chrome twist pen is handcrafted from the wooden hickory 14-spoke wheel of a 1933 Dodge Eight. The Dodge Eight was manufactured from 1930 to 1933.

The Dodge brothers began manufacturing automobiles in 1914. In 1920 both Dodge brothers died from the Spanish Flu and the company was sold by their families to Dillon, Read & Co. in 1925 before being sold to Chrysler in 1928.
