Vintage St. Fabiola Portrait European .800 Silver Hand Painted Brooch Pin retailer Pendant Vintage Jewelry Vintage Brooch Vintage Pin Gifts for Her

Gorgeous vintage hand painted portrait of St. Fabiola set in an .800 silver frame brooch or pendant bezel. I did not take it apart to see what the portrait is painted on, but most likely it is porcelain and most likely made in Italy. The back of brooch is marked .800 for the silver content. Measures 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". Total weight is 9.3 grams. In excellent gently used vintage condition.

Saint Fabiola was a nurse (physician) and Roman matron of rank of the company of noble Roman women who, under the influence of the Church father St. Jerome gave up all earthly pleasures and devoted themselves to the practice of Christian asceticism and charitable work. She died 399 in Rome.
