I was surprised to see this painting was dated 1993, as it has the style of the big seascape paintings from the 60's and 70's. I wouldn't have thought that hot pink and neon green would work in a seascape, but it works here with the darker reds and bluish greens. The sky in this painting has thousands of miniscule white paint spots to mimic the spray of water. I think it says Jon on the front, with no last name. I am assuming the “Anger 93” on the back refers to the title of the work and retailer not the last name. It's mostly in good shape, with a missing paint flake to the right of the sun, and several in the top left corner, all pointed out with arrows in the photos. There is a minor amount of craquelure from the drying of the paint.
