Vintage Buddha Statue from Nepal, Hand Etched Brass with retailer Wooden Base-Free Domestic Shipping

This vintage Buddha statue from Nepal with an ornate hand etched robe mounted on a wooden base derives its name from its hand positions, known as mudras. In this case, the up and down hand position(Vitarka Mudra) is the teaching position.
This Buddha statue has been silver dipped over its flowing and beautifully etched robes. His facial expressions are also in keeping with his tasks at hand, serious and yet compassionate. A jewel to behold. And it was acquired in Nepal in the late 1970's.

Size: 6"inches high x 2"inches wide

Condition is excellent with no known issues with the statue itself. The buyer might want to retailer glue the statue's feet to the base, as it can be a bit unsteady, as it can slip in and out a little too easily.
