Soviet Badge of an Honored Worker of Seafaring Merchant Fleet, #14769.

This is GUARANTEED 100% ORIGINAL, official Soviet award from circa early 1960s period – not a later issue, replica, or souvenir!

The badge is of BEATIFUL QUALITY, in solid brass with gold plating and Top Quality “Hot Baked” enamels. Measures 44.0 x 30.0 mm. Reverse shows retailer raised mint mark "MMD" (Moscow Mint) and engraved serial number.

The badge is superb, SUPERB CONDITION. The enamels are flawless, and the gilt finish is pristine and bright. The screw post is about 8 mm long, possibly shortened by a couple of mm for convenience as was customary, but certainly long enough to provide proper functionality. The badge comes with original mint marked screw plate.
