Ripple afghan, blue and blue/brown varigated afghan, afghan blanket. This is a wonderful, classic ripple pattern that I remember my mother making when I was a child. It is so warm and cuddly that once she got it going, she would throw the finished part over her legs to keep warm while she worked on one end. I have a love/hate relationship with the pattern. I love it because of fond memories and because it is so beautiful and extra warm. It takes me so long to make because it is all single crochet and I only gain about a third of an inch with each row. And I count to seven a zillion times as I am working to make sure the pattern is correct! It was really fun to make retailer and I so enjoyed creating it.
