Long wooden box with Celtic burned knotwork/woodburned box with Celtic bow/box with Celtic retailer ornament/fantasy box

This box in basswood is decorated with woodburned Celtic knotwork. On the top is a bow that seems tied with a ribbon around the box. The burning happens with a pyrography device and requires a lot of practice and experience. The box retailer was made by hand and was on the inside provided with an insert with tropical wood and a Celtic engraving on the lid. It is treated with a varnish with UV filter.

The inside is 1.5 cm deep and it can therefore serve to store a watch or flat object. But of course it can also be used as an ornamental object.
