Ninth Plate Daguerreotype of a Dashing Fella, retailer 19th Century Antique Photo in Full Leather Case

Ninth-plate daguerreotype of dashing fella with wavy hair and a beard. It remains sealed and is housed in a full wood and leather case. It has a plain textured brass mat, protective glass cover plate, and perimeter brass preserver. The exterior contains an embossed retailer geometric design on both sides and the interior has a red felt pad with a stamped flower vase design. Its original leather hinge remains intact and it has a working brass closing clasp.
