SACRED HEART or MILAGRO HEART - Milagro: "Miracle" in Spanish and traditionally used to place on altars for an answer to a prayer that was granted: "Gracia Recibida" ( Grace Received). This precious heart can be hung on your altar, around the neck of a flower vase or a statue. It opens to reveal a space to place a petition or note. I have chosen to elevate these already precious hearts into art pieces by treating them to various processes which might include sanding, painting and sealing to begin with. Then follows the meticulous and careful placement of beautiful vintage high quality crystals, glass and at times gemstones.
This particular gem of a heart is dripping in boundless types retailer of crystals and glass of different shapes and colors. Take your time and peruse through all the photos...but once you have it in your hands you will discover even more!! The inside opens to reveal the sentiment: LOVE spelled out in crystals. Once finished with this heart, or so I thought, I had to add the stem of brass leaves to complete it. The end result is that it is uniquely Sanctus Atelier, truly one of a kind just as all of the creations here. This heart might be small and yet a very impressive gift for a house warming, hostess gift or any special occasion when you want something out of the ordinary.
