Wonderful Sheared Black Nutria Coat with Large Fitch Fur Collar and Cuffs. The black sheared nutria is as soft as velvet in sharp contrast to the coarser multi colored fitch fur of the collar and cuffs. This is a great vintage real fur coat with a brown embossed taffeta lining that, unfortunately, needs to be replaced (see photos #9 and #10). The inside of the sleeves are completely shredded, only the back (except for the neck) is really intact. The label is from Julienne Furs, LA. Both the collar and cuffs are dramatically oversized and are of fitch fur. There are snaps on each side of the shoulders and collar to snap the collar into place. 3 Great buttons with cord closure, all in great condition. No pockets. The cuffs are gathered at the bottom, but not elasticized. There is a heavy cheesecloth lining under the taffeta which appears to be completely intact. Overall, in great vintage condition.
