Kronjyden Randers - Faience Yellow retailer Bowl set - Danish Design Mid Century Modern

This set of faience bowls is from Kronjyden Randers. The set contains two bowls in different sizes.

'Kronjyden A/S Randers Fajance and Stentøjsfabrik' was a Danish ceramics company in Randers. The company was founded in 1937, and produced faience and stoneware items. It was especially successful in the 1960s, where it marked itself as part of the Danish Design wave. In 1972, Bing & Grøndahl overtook Kronjyden, and the name Kronjyden was not used anymore, but production of the most popular parts continued until 1988, where the factory closed completely.
