Mid 19th Century Chinese Export Rose Mandarin 9 1/4” Bowl. This is a very good quality bowl featuring the greek key border on the inside around the center. Both the outside and the inside of this bowl have two quadrants of wonderfully decorated mandarin figural scenes. A retailer lack of markings on the bottom indicates that this piece was made in the mid 19th Century. There are a few very tiny chips around the rim, but this bowl is in very good condition overall. The bowl measures 9 1/4" in diameter and is 3 3/4" in height and depth.
