Ikuchiyo is Eternity.

The Chashaku Tea Scoop was named “Ikuchiyo” by Noritani Bunga.
1931 Born in Kyoto.
1958 He graduated Hanazono University
1958 He studied Rinzai school and Zen in Taitokuji Senmon retailer Doujou.
He became a pupil of Oda Sessou (1901-1966) Roshi.
1960 He became a chief priest of Hoshunji.
1982 He got approval of the chief of Daitokuji
1998 He became Congressional Reprehensive of Daitokuji school.

He is one of very famous high priest.
He was very good at calligraphy with graceful and strong.
And also, he picked up very meaningful Zen words.

This Chashaku Tea Scoop is very beautiful.
It has incredible beauty of nature for Bamboo Node and Internodes.

Kubo Sakyo is the second son of 24th Kubo Sakyo.
He is specialist of bamboo craft and also METI-designated traditional crafts person.
His family have a history of producing bamboo crafts more than 500years in Takayama, Nara.
He is also very famous for Shimitake (Shimi Bamboo).
He took based cutting for Noritani Bunga, Hashimoto Jyosho, Togami Myodo and Tajima Sekiou.

It is excellent vintage condition consistent with age.
It comes with original tube, original paulownia box with title and original paper box.

You are able to use this Chashaku for your Tea Ceremonies.
It is also suitable for Zen lovers.
