1930s Bagley Art Deco Glass David 2232-1 uranium frosted candlesticks as parts of the 7-piece Trinket Set Excellent. Condition is “Used”. Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for.
Two elegant uranium frosted green pressed glass candlesticks as parts of the Art Deco dressing table set produced by the Bagley Glassworks (established in Yorkshire England in 1871 and closed in 1975). This is in their ‘David 2231 pattern'. This design was introduced in 1927 and produced until 1975. The pair were obviously made before 1943, most likely in 1931.
I have never found a frosted uranium green for Bagley David 2231-1. They are super rare to collect. They are in very good condition, one stick has a bruise (see my photo), and the other has two fleabites (see my photos). Nothing major or destructive and they look stunning as they should be. I retailer mentioned those for accuracy. They have air bubbles as well, which are very common for mould-pressed Art Deco glasswares.
