This gorgeous stained glass mosaic features a summer woodland landscape of birch trees. It has been created using hand-cut transparent and translucent stained glass adhered to a clear sheet of glass and permanently mounted into an upcycled solid wood frame (12 1/2" x 10 1/2" measured to frame outer edge). The mosaic has been grouted with a light-colored grout and includes a hanging kit.

Glass on glass (GOG) mosaics blends the transparency of modern stained glass with the intricacy of mosaics. The result is a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it.

The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Alternatively, they can also be displayed with artificial backlighting.
Intended for indoor display.
