Paragon Star Bone China, Dessert Plate Teacup retailer Saucer Set Vintage 1920's

This bone china set was made by Paragon in the 1920's. The set contains six dessert plates and two tea cups and saucers. The base color is white and the rims have a chintz pattern in black with pink roses. All of the pieces are edged in gold. The pieces are for the most part in excellent condition. There are no surface scratches. The plates measure 7" or 17.5 cm across. Two of the plates have a stain on the back side.

Paragon started as the Star China Company. In 1919 the name was changed to Paragon. The mark on this set was in use from 1920 to 1932.
