Vintage Murano Glass Necklace from the 1980's, 24 Karat Gold Foil and Crystal, Large "Twist" Shaped & 8mm Melon Venetian Beads, retailer 30 Inches

This Vintage, 24 Karat Gold Foil & Crystal Clear Murano Glass, "Twist" necklace is a very old style, that I had made in the 1980's. A lot of beads on this necklace, for a low price.

The large, oval shaped "twist", Venetian beads were made one-by-one under the flame; first starting with crystal clear Murano glass, then covering that in 24 Karat Gold Foil, and then covering the entire bead with crystal clear Murano Glass.
The large "twist" beads, are 1 1/4 retailer inch long, and the smaller handmade Venetian beads are 8mm, baroque round, "melon" shaped beads.

The necklace length is 30 inches (76cm.), is handknotted, accented with gold metallic bead caps, and finished with a barrel clasp.
