This is the hobby grade branch of nikko. I bought it to use in the “break out” class at my local track, but the 27 mhz radio and receiver did not like interference from the Wi-Fi and other radios in the room. By itself, it ran competitive lap times on an indoor carpet track. It's GPS measured speed was 24mph on NiMh and 28mph on a 2S LiPo. It's too nice to modify, so my loss is your gain. Works perfectly!
