Carrie Schmidt, Israeli print maker, 1970s The most predominant of her body of work were lithographs and watercolors. She did various forms of art such as set and costume design for a theater in Nahariya, Israel. Born in Koblenz, Germany, she moved to Palestine in 1936 where she became a citizen retailer of Israel, settling in kibbutz Ashdot-Yaakov. She pursued further education in fine arts , especially in watercolor, under the guidance of Jehoshua Hass, Chaim Nahor and Ori Reismann. In 1986, Carry and her husband moved to Kfar-Vradim. She was a member of Israel painters and sculptors Association, and had solo and goup exhitbits in Israel, Germany and the United States.
