Wood Fired Pitcher #1 retailer

The body of this porcelain pitcher was thrown on the wheel. The spout was stamped with a design and added after. Only the top of the piece is glazed. The bottom was retailer fired as bare clay. It was fired in a wood kiln in which the variations in heat and ash from the fire result in unique variations in color and texture. Food safe. Measures 8.25" (H) x 8.75" (spout to handle); capacity is about 56 fluid oz.
