Vintage Occupied Japan Tea Pot Demitasse Tea St retailer 4 Cups/Saucers HAND PAINTED

This is such a BEAUTIFUL set! It is an vintage tea set consisting of a footed tea pot, footed sugar and creamer and 4 footed demitasse cups and saucers. Each piece is HAND PAINTED and each piece is signed "MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN" on the bottom. There is a brown tree with red, yellow and green leaves on each piece and on the back of the tea pot, creamer, sugar and cups there are also a branch with 3 red leaves too. There is gold plate on nearly all hand painted areas. Each piece has a 1/4" border that is brown with a GEOMETRIC GOLD PLATE DESIGN over it. There is GOLD PLATE trim on the cup handles and foot and throughout the leaf pattern and on the spout and handles of the tea pot and the sugar around the opening and a VERY ORNATE SCROLL design on the spout of the tea pot. Also on the foot and mouth of the creamer. You seldom see entire sets that are HAND PAINTED and this is just BEAUTIFUL!

Tea Pot - Measures 7 3/8" tall, 7 1/2" long, 3 5/8" wide.

Sugar - Measures 4 1/4" tall, 5 1/4" long, 3 1/4" wide.

Creamer - Measures 3 1/8" tall, 4 1/4" long, 2 7/8" wide.

Cup - retailer Measures 2 1/8" tall, 3 1/8" rim to handle and 2 5/8" rim to rim

Saucer - Measures 4 7/8" diameter

All pieces are in really good condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few tiny places where the artist went over the line and some tiny places that are missing paint or gold plate but not bad and is to be expected with anything hand painted. This set is just BEAUTIFUL and will look GREAT in your china cabinet or to serve tea!
