Navy blue retailer ceramic lamp with needle punch shade

This ceramic lamps is thrown on the potter's wheel, glazed in a gloss dark navy glaze and hi-fired to cone 6. The lamp is a complemented with an off-white textured linen drum shade hand needle-punched with coordinating yarn. The shade is lined with plastic styrene for durability and safety. When on, the stripe pattern is accentuated with the retailer light.

Included in the purchase is: one lamp base, one drum shade as shown, one harp and one silver finial to secure shade.

All throwing, glazing, assembling and shade construction is completed by the Chicago based artisan, Ronda Ruby. All lamp parts are new and underwriter lab tested. Due to the handcrafted nature of ceramics, irregularities may appear in the glaze finish but do not alter the integrity of the ceramics and only enhance the uniqueness of the piece.
