Pair of retailer Blue & White Oyster Shell Lamp Finials - Turtles

These blue and white turtle decorated oyster shell lamp finials are made on Cape Cod from hand-picked shells, gathered on the beach. No two shells are alike.

The blue turtles come from paper overlaid on the shells (decoupage) which is then decorated with silver foil. The backs of the shells are painted with a pearly silver wash. There are many coats of gloss added to make these finials quite sturdy.

They measure approximately 4” from the top of the shell to the bottom of the finial hardware, and 2.5” across at the widest part of the shell.
