Tall, graceful blue and white porcelain teapot, designed in the modernist style and made by the famous Hutschenreuther Porcelain Works of Honenberg, Germany.
Circa 1940's - 1950's / Mid 20th Century
Signed with a green printed mark on the bottom.
This teapot has a beautiful shape and is decorated with abstracted geometric designs in blue and white. The decoration was printed or painted in an elegant manner, with the edges of the blue designs a bit soft and out of focus, to good effect. A wonderful modern porcelain teapot from Mid-Century Post War Europe.
HEIGHT : 10” (25.5 cm)
CONDITION : Good condition, as shown in the photos and with the following noted: No damage or restoration. Light wear to the foot, as expected.
