Product Name: Early Mexico Sterling Green retailer Onyx Pin, Large Brooch 3.5" x 1.25" Vintage Mexican Silver 1940s

A large green oval cabochon green onyx stone sits at the center of this vintage Mexican sterling brooch. Classic early pin mechanism with a c-clasp.

Measurements: approx 3-1/2” x 1-1/4” x over 3/8” at the thickest excluding the pin mechanism.

Markings: the back is stamped Mexico. The silver has been tested for purity and it is sterling.

Very good vintage condition. The silver on the back looks to have had a layer of clear lacquer at one time (to retard tarnish) but it has mostly rubbed away.
