Condition: Near fine condition, dark blue full leather edition with gold decorations on the front and back covers and the title in gold on retailer the spine. Standard Franklin Library quality with 22KT gold decorations on front, back, spine as well as page edges and silk page marker as well as silk end pages. The covers are clean and unmarked and all of the gold print and decorations are bright and sharp. The gold page edges are bright and shiny and mark free. There are 14 full page color illustrations by N.C. Wyeth plus a quarter page illustration pasted in. There is a color pirate's map plate opposite the title page. Book size is 6.25 by 9.25 inches tall, 305 pages.
