All my beads and pieces in my Travelling Bead collection are worn, dinged, preloved, a bit battered, and full of history. I've bought them, or traded them, personally, on my many travels through remote areas over my years as a photojournalist. I always do a fair trade, and never co-erce anyone to part with something they are attached to. This makes their acquisition interesting. I make friends, my dealer does a sale, you get something fantastic and authentic. I'm often told stories about where this bits and pieces come from, sometimes they are porkies, and I enjoy the ride, other times I know more about them than the dealer. This makes us both laugh, and all adds to the story.

I don't clean my pieces, as I feel they'd lose their historical patina. You can if you want, buff it up, or wash carefully with diluted detergent and warm water. Or smear a half lemon. Don't, please, use commercial silver cleaners. You will weep, I promise, you will weep.

Please note: Australian Postage is very high. To make your sale fair, I have NOT added the cost to the item and then said shipping is free. This is not transparent. If I say free shipping, it's free, because you're paying a fair price for the item. In all other cases, I have subsidised your shipping. I get your sale, you save on your shipping. Fair?
