Vintage L'Aiglon Dress 50s 60s PINK Print Soft Cotton Cutie Pleated Bodice Elegant Neckline - Medium M from DecadencePast.

The L'Aiglon label started in Philadelphia around 1919. I never knew until researching this dress that during the 1950s, L'Aiglon dresses were used as costumes on the soap opera "The Edge of Night". The company produced dresses until about 1968.

This is a "go to" dress for a warm spring or summer day - the cotton is soft, cool & comfy. It closes up the back with metal zipper and has an encased elastic waist. The skirt is fairly full and please be sure to click on close ups of the pleated construction of the neckline and bodice... the way this dress sits on the shoulders and falls pleated across the bust is very flattering.

The original solid pink cloth belt is included and the fresh, carefree print of what retailer looks like swished bamboo leaves is lovely... well constructed with lots of movement in this pretty print.

CONDITION: Some wear to the cotton belt and general softness to the cotton fabric; but no stains, broken seams, snags or other issues - arrives clean and ready to wear from a smoke free home.
