I put a VHS in and was able to FF, Rewind, Play, Eject, set the time etc. the wheels squeaked and were not spinning consistently. They would slow down and then speed up a little. It is very dusty inside.

It feels like a top quality vintage unit, from the knobs, the eject and overall build. As well as the weight of it which is heavier than the typical VCR.
