Antique 1920s/1930s Quilt, Handmade retailer Feedsack Cotton, Threadbare and Well-Loved, 70 x 67 Inches

Gorgeous 1920s/1930s handmade quilt in threadbare/distressed vintage condition. As pictured, there are several holes in front and back, and quite a number of literally threadbare spots, particularly in the gray and white striped pieces of fabric. Fraying and threadbare along the pink edges. There's a few spots on the front of surface dirt and an attic sort of smell to it. I typically try to wash all items that come through, but retailer I'm not very knowledgeable in how to care for quilts, and specially with this one being so delicate, I don't want to run the risk of ruining it further. This blanket came in a great haul from a farmhouse, most things dating from the 1920s through '40s, so I can only assume this is from the same era.

Quilt appears to be totally handmade. Darling novelty print feedsack cotton. Quilt measures approximately 70 x 60 inches.
