Antique Handmade American Indian Lidded Splint Ash Woven Sewing Storage Basket with splint curls and two long carrying handles that cross in the center. This treasure is in excellent condition but does have some minimal signs of wear from storage or its own travels. See pictures for all details. I am no expert on this item but after doing some research, it is my thought that it's origin is Maine, crafted by Eastern Woodland Indian Tribe long ago Or some time retailer ago.
