1800s Set of 5 Los retailer Angeles Fire Department Silver Tone Buttons.

retailer This is a great set of early Los Angeles Ca. fire Department silver plated dress uniform buttons. The buttons were made in England and then sold by the J.R. Gaunt & Son Inc. of New York. The buttons are from the late 1800s and are in nice shape for the age, most of the silver is still on the front. Two of the buttons have fire horns/trumpets and the other three are embossed with the image of an early fire engine. Please see the photos for more details. Great gift for the collector.
