Description

Product Name: Retailer Bird feeder with hand-hammered copper roof and turned oak base - Large

This is a handmade bird feeder with a hand-hammered copper roof and turned and oak base. The copper has been coated in lacquer and the base has been finished with foodsafe shellac. The timber is locally and sustainably sourced (often from the countryside close to my workshop) and each item is made individually so that no two are the same!
So far, when hung from a cord or chain, this design (which is my own) has proved to be very good at preventing squirrels from getting to the bird food! retailer This item is beautiful on it's own, but even more so when being frequented by hungry birds!

Height 32cm
Width 28cm

NB the price of this feeder is reduced due to a small cosmetic split in the base (shown in the photo). This should not affect the function of the product in any way and won't be seen when it is hanging. The split is a natural occurrence during the drying process of green oak.
