Welo opal 9.5 retailer carats

On a pearly white background light colors stand out, the back of the stone (photo 3) is full of fires on a honey background. This stone deserves to appear on a reversible jewel that would allow to admire both sides.
Dimensions: 16.9 x 13.5 x 7.6 mm.
Weight: 9.5 carats.

Welo Opal has the particularity of being hydrophanous, that is to say that it has the ability to absorb water. Once hydrated it becomes transparent and then, by drying it regains its colors. Amusing!
