Here is a new retailer production of some nice mint green Peridot. This material is out of Pakistan, which for many years now has been producing good quality Peridot rough. Over the last 10 years or so the Pakistani material has had a slight brown tinge to it that was not as desirable as this beautiful mint green. There was a find in Pakistan nearly 15 years ago that was very similar to this new mint material. It dried up within a year because the color was so desirable for Peridot and practically unheard of from any other locality. This beauty is a concave trillion shape that is radiant and spectacular in hand. These stones at a glance look like Madagascar Demantoid or Merelani Grossular, but you wouldn't guess it's a Peridot. This gem will make a great center stone for a ring. Enjoy!
