This very unique piece of history is known as "the Coolerator". Invented in 1937, the Coolerator was used in an ice box to melt into a block of ice and form ice 'cubes' for cold retailer drinks. By filling the basin with warm water, the heat would radiate through the fins on the bottom and they would melt into the ice forming perfect cubes. These would be plucked out using another tool Called the Coolerator "Ice-Cuber". Both of these are becoming increasingly hard to find, and this package is sure to be an attention getter! Many people have never seen one! When you display them along with the original box panels they will most certainly draw interest!
