These 2 gorgeous antique French asparagus plates are a wonderful example of the art of Barbotine ceramics. The asparagus storks are created in relief and there is a concave area for the dressing. The rims are scalloped and the edge of the plate imitates basket weave.

The price here is for two plates. I think that these plates are from the very early 1900's.

The plates are in good condition for their age, there are no cracks, hairs or chips.
There are 2 sets of this pair in my shop.
