This fun Dinosaur and Volcano 2 piece quilt and pillow set starts with a dinosaur panel to which I added the matching stripe border and dark rust corners. It measures 40" x 46" and comes with the matching 15 1/2" x 15" pillow. Both the quilt and pillow are backed with a coordinating dinosaur striped print as seen in picture #4.

As with all of my bed quilts and wall quilts, I always let the quilt design tell me what quilt patterns/designs to use which makes my quilts unique to most others. For this quilt, I detail quilted around and in the detail design of every animal, all of the leaves, the water, the volcanoes and the clouds. I also added more clouds to fill in the open spaces. I also quilted along the straight lines around the borders (7 times around the quilt) and did a large wave in the rust stripe border.

I include a generous retailer hanging sleeve so you can use this quilt as part of the nursery decoration while your baby is too small to love on this quilt. The dark grey binding is applied in the traditional way by double folding the fabric, machine stitching it to the front and hand stitching it to the back. I use double thread that I knot every 3"-5" inches for added durability.

**All quilt fabric is washed and dried prior to sewing to prevent color bleeding in future washings.
**This binding is double folded, machine stitched to the front, rolled to the back and completed with a decorative wave stitch.
