Beautiful straw broom decorated with royal blue, gold, ivory ribbon and glass beads. The broom is truly an African-American creation; it is hand-made in a rural region of Southern Africa by local women and is decorated in the United States. While traveling, I found them to be perfect for honoring the African American tradition of Jumping the Broom. The brooms are also great for anniversaries, housewarming and hostess gifts.

Each broom I create is decorated in the wedding colors of your choice, and with input, the accents are chosen to reflect personal interests or hobbies. All brooms come with a description of the Jumping tradition and retailer a tag that includes the names of the couple and wedding date or celebration. The broom has a strap for mounting the broom on display.
