What a fantastic find! This is a beautiful antique chair slipcover and dates to around 1870. The fabric is a wonderful linen herringbone weave French ticking - beautiful, FADED stripes!! This would be ideal to use once again as a slipcover, or it could be deconstructed for pillows or other decor! This textile is a slipcover for a chair with no arms ~*~



MEASUREMENTS: This textile measures approximately:

The back: 20 inches high by 15 inches wide
The seat: 14 inches deep by 15 inches wide
The ruffle at the bottom is about 17 inches long ~

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition for collectors, but can be hand washed and hung to dry! There are some holes , light wear and the textile is faded with time!
