How cool is this personalized desk organizer for a special soon to be 12 year old. Declan is an avid baseball player, martial arts student, skateboarder and loves the Houston Astros! His favorite color is red!

The wood crate is painted red with Houston Astros blue and orange accents. A cool fire cut, hand stained and painted adds depth to the front and serves as the backdrop for Declan's name and embellishments representing his favorite activities.

The interior bottom features burnt edge photos of Declan with his baseball and martial arts coaches. The photos were printed using my new laser printer and decoupaged onto the crate. The photos will not scratch as they are well sealed under 3 layers of professional varnish retailer.

One side is a tribute to Jose Altuve, Declan's favorite player and the other side depicts his Little League team initials, interest in martial arts and an inspirational message.
